Certificate of Authenticity - Fully Customized for Tooth

If you would like you can add a certificate of authenticity to any fossil tooth you purchase.

These Certificates of Authenticity do not come with a tooth unless purchased separately.

Beware of mass produced, low quality, low value certificates of authenticity. If you get a COA for free with your tooth the COA likely took very little time or effort to make and likely has very little relevance or value.

Some areas of the pictures above have been blurred intentionally to obscure critical elements on this particular COA.

I CAN NOT issue or sell a Certificate of Authenticity for a tooth you purchased elsewhere or previously. COAs are created upon request before a tooth has ever left my possession, once it has left my possession the chain of custody will be beyond me personally so I can not 100% guarantee the tooth has not been restored, repaired, or enhanced. Therefore I can only issue Certificates of Authenticity for megalodon teeth and other shark teeth fossils when they are purchased and BEFORE they are shipped.

These Certificates of Authenticity come with a picture of the actual tooth you are purchasing on them.

They are signed, and embossed with unique elements to prevent duplication and fraud.

They are printed on high quality specialized paper to prevent unauthorized reproduction and to ensure they last for years to come.

The reference number will also appear on your emailed receipt for further verification and provenance in the future. I recommend printing a copy of your emailed receipt to keep with your COA

Unlike some "at-home-printed mass produced" these COAs allow anyone to verify the COA matches the tooth and understand it was found and sold by a diver with a stellar and long standing reputation (Dark Water Megs).
